Appearance: nero wears a cloak and mantle with the hood pulled up and a white bone mask. his cloak is made of two thin layers of leather with chainmail and metal plates reinforcing it, granting suprisingly strong defense. the mask is carved from the skull of a great demon and bears dozens of small nick, cuts, and pits. under his cloak he wears a long white shirt the turns into a frayed netting at the bottom with a black leather sleeveless jerkin over it along with matching pants and boots. all his leather clothing has numerous silver buckles and he uses a long chain as a belt. he also wears a black leather mama longer on his left side then the right. both his kama and pants are embroidered along the bottom with silver threaded designs. he has medium length dark red hair that looks black unless it's in bright light. nero also has dark violet eyes.

Notable Physical Traits: nero's body is covered with layers of scars, evidence of many battles fought by himself with painful consequences

Personality: nero tends to be gruff and unfriendly, he's long been shunned by the other angels which has led to a tendency towards operating alone. his dissociation with the other angels has made him bitter towards heaven and led to his preference to stay in the human world and do as he pleases unless specifically ordered otherwise

Notable Personality Traits: he's known to have sit off to the side and watch as a "fellow" angel is killed in battle

Accessories: nero wears a long thin black metal chain wrapped around each wrist and ankle. his chain belt also has a kunai like object at each end. inside of his cloak he carries 8 throwing knives and four spikes he uses to hold people as he uses his corruption ability on them. he usually carries a blackwood walking staff


Abilities: Corruption: nero has the ability to absorb and use the divine energy within all life. any being, from angels to plants, to animals, and even demons have a spark of the divine within them because they were created by god. nero can pull that "spark" out of anything and store it within his sword. the process transforms anything, turning them into a demonic form of what they once were, and fully loyal to nero, the one that possesses their "spark". the process takes more time based on how much devine influence is in them, animals and plants can be turned just by him being close. demons are easy but he has to touch them. humans are slightly harder then demons, and angels can take a while even with direct contact, the more powerful someone is the longer it takes. demons may not be completely under his control since they are used to having less divine influence within them. beings he controls are more powerful because the conflicting "light" and "darkness" within them are no longer working against each other, allowing them to fight with all their energy
the energy he draws from someone else allows him the passive ability of increasing his sword's effectiveness against demons, and the active ability to launch directed beams or blast, but all of these abilities drain the collected energy and returns it to the being(s) he took it from.
the time for drining the divine energy from another being is: same post for animals and plants, 1 post for low demons, humans about 2 posts after, and angels about 3. angels are too weakened by the process for him to control, they're too used too being bathed in god's influence that the sudden lose leaves them little better then comatose.


Background: nero served heaven loyally during the initial fighting between heaven and hell, fighting in the large bloodly conflicts of the time. over time the fighting between the angels and demons degraded into a cold war with only minor skirmishes, allowing the angels time to look within and notice the bizarre andhorrifying power he wielded. he could warp and twist things around him with just his presence. soon be became an outcast an pariah among his own ranks. god saw it and did grant him a measure of relief by giving him the role of heaven's "wetworks" man, he was given liscense to break heaven's laws to protect everyone else. he took on the role, happy to be away from the other angels, he decided to become the one who walked in the shadows to protect the light, not because he cared about it, but because he didn't want to live in the light any longer.

RP Sample: nero walks down the alley, the sound of his cloak, boots, and staff echoing off the walls with each stride. he knows the demon thinks nero can't hear him over the sound of his clothing and equipment, but he's so used to the sounds that it's like a dead silence for him, he hears each step the demon makes in his direction, he also hears it when the demon springs foreward. he whirls around, planting all his weight on one foot as he slams the end of his staff into it's face, knocking it back a few feet.

before the demon can regain it's feeting a dark shape collides with it from the side. nero had come across a wild dog as he hunted the demon in this city, he'd corrupted it's spirit and body and binded it to him. as the demon struggled to free itself from the warped beast nero had turned the animal into he draws his sword and moves closer. his blade glows lightly, the sign that it contains some energy, the sparks of divine influence he's drawn out of the dog. he brings the blade up and swings it down with a swift slash, as the blade slices into it's shoulder the demon screams loudly, as a cross or another holy artifact would burn it nero's swordis infused with pure holy energy, inflicting extreme pain and damage to such an unholy being.

as he draws the blade out of the demon through the hip opposite of where it entered it's blade stops glowing, the energy dissipated as it burned the demon, but it will return to the dog over the next few minutes, returning it to normal. he returns his wrod to his scheathe and walks off, the sounds of his passing the same as before as he leaves behind the dog as it falls to the ground, it's body slowly returning to normal.

With your corruption, I'm gonna say: same post for animals and plants, about the same for low demons, humans about 2 posts after, and angels about 3, alright?

I'm awake now, and it is a very nice app, however, it would be kinda god-moddish to let you take control of other people's characters, Blackstaff or not. But I'll let you keep corruption as your element, with this note: What I said before stands, with npcs. And about 5 plants/animals/low demons at a time, 3 humans, 2 angels. (max for each, totalling 10 corrupted npcs at a time)

i made the edits. and i never intended to take over other player's characters, only NPCs
as for my nuetral status, he is loyal to heaven, but not to angels. he will follow only the word of god, which he does loyally, but has forsaken the rest of his kind
